Happy Turkey Day
Well folks, it's that time of year again, when we in America celebrate the day the protestants fleeing persecution sat down at a table with the godless heathen natives of this great land and said: "Yeah, enjoy it now redskins, cause boy are we gonna give you a whoopin' like you ain't never seen." Stay with me here:
1) you believe in jesus - catholics
2) we believe in jesus - protestants
3) but our jesus is better - protestants
4) we're leaving cause you won't leave us alone - protestants
5) we believe in the divinity of nature and have no concept of ownership when it comes to the land - indians
6) well that's great, let's sit down and talk about that before the killing begins - protestants
7) let's all sit down and eat turkey.
Clear as mud I'm sure. Anyhow, enjoy the holiday, eat a lot, remember with longing the fabulous days of yore before the indians were slaughtered and before we displaced millions to come harvest cotton for us. I for one am thankful for the internet.
